What we collect
- Account details you give us, such as your email address, name, and any optional profile details like date of birth or mobile number.
- People you add — recipients and Trusted Verifiers — with the contact details you enter for them.
- Capsule contents and attachments, which are encrypted before they are stored.
- Release settings such as schedules and who each Capsule is for.
- Records of agreements, such as when you accepted the Private Beta Notice.
- Beta feedback you choose to give, and support requests you send.
- Basic usage statistics: page visits with an anonymous visitor identifier, page path, device type, country and the referring website name. We don’t store your IP address or full browser details for these statistics, and we don’t use session recording.
How we use it
To run your account, store and protect your Capsules, carry out the release instructions you set, contact the people you chose when that’s part of the process, send account and security emails, provide support, and improve YoursSomeday during beta. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How it is protected
Capsule contents and attachments are encrypted before storage. Access is restricted to your own account, and sensitive actions such as sealing require an extra identity check. Dashboards show status, not your private messages. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Services we rely on
YoursSomeday uses trusted providers to host the app and database, send email, and measure basic product usage. They process information only to provide those services to us.
Your choices
- You can view and update your account details and Capsules in the app.
- You can delete individual Capsules. To ask about account deletion or a copy of your information, email us.
- Beta feedback and quick in-app questions are always optional.
During the beta
This policy may change as YoursSomeday develops. If YoursSomeday does not proceed to public launch, beta testers will be notified and beta Capsule content and account data will be securely deleted as part of the shutdown.
