What is YoursSomeday?
A place to prepare private messages, information and instructions for the people you choose, with your own release instructions for each Capsule.
Is YoursSomeday a will?
No. It is not a replacement for a will, trust, estate plan, attorney, or other legal documents.
What is a Capsule?
A Capsule holds a message, memory, important information, or instructions, along with the people and release timing you choose for it.
Can different people receive different things?
Yes. Create separate Capsules for different people, each with its own content and release instructions.
Can one Capsule have more than one recipient?
Yes. You can designate more than one person to receive a Capsule.
Can I send something every year on a birthday?
You can prepare an annual birthday release instruction for a Capsule. Automated post-death delivery is still being completed during beta.
Can I release something when someone reaches a certain age?
You can set a recipient milestone age. For different messages at different ages, create separate Capsules.
What if I change my mind after sealing a Capsule?
You can make changes. Important changes to an already sealed Capsule remain pending until you intentionally re-seal it with the additional identity check.
What does ‘Changes Pending’ mean?
You have saved changes to a previously sealed Capsule, but those changes have not yet become its active sealed version. Re-seal when you are ready.
Can my Trusted Verifier read my Capsules?
No, not merely because they are a Trusted Verifier. That role does not automatically give someone recipient access.
What happens if I miss a life check-in?
A missed check-in alone never releases a Capsule.
What if YoursSomeday thinks I died when I did not?
The release process is being designed with verification, owner challenge and holds, and review. Automated post-death workflows are still being completed and tested during beta.
Is automated post-death delivery live today?
No. YoursSomeday is in beta; automated verification and delivery workflows are still being completed.
Can I add photos or files?
Secure file attachments are coming soon.
Is my information visible on the dashboard?
Sensitive Capsule contents are not previewed on general dashboard cards. You see summaries and status instead.
Can I use this instead of an estate attorney?
No. YoursSomeday does not replace legal advice, an estate attorney, a will, or a trust.
