Preservation
Your legacy stays protected
Life gets busy, cards expire, plans change. If a paid subscription isn’t renewed after the grace period, your account moves into Preservation — a calm, protective state that keeps what you’ve prepared safe.
Not a plan, just a safe place to pause
Preservation isn’t something you buy or sign up for. It’s simply how YoursSomeday looks after your account when a paid subscription isn’t renewed.
Your Capsules stay preserved
Your existing Capsules and encrypted files remain preserved, exactly as you left them. Nothing is automatically deleted merely because payment stopped.
You keep access
You can still sign in, and you can still download and export your information at any time.
New content is paused
While in Preservation, creating new Capsules and uploading new files is paused, and paid-plan storage and capacity don’t expand.
Pick up where you left off
Reactivating your subscription returns your account to the paid tier you had before.
Missed payments are never mistaken for anything else
Nonpayment is never treated as a death, and it never triggers a release. Preservation itself does not trigger releases.
Release behavior for accounts in Preservation is governed by YoursSomeday’s release policy; nonpayment alone never authorizes a release.
